Salcha Rescue, YOUR local EMS volunteers, respond 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 52 weeks a year. What if there were no volunteers for Salcha Rescue?

What if, when you dial 9-1-1 your nearest response agency is North Pole, estimated time of arrival 45 minutes to one hour? Salcha Rescue now needs your help. Salcha Rescue needs volunteers. If you’re interested in volunteering to be an EMT I, EMT II or EMT III, please contact Salcha Rescue at 488-5274 (leave a message, please, as it is not a manned station) or call Chief Ed Keep-Barnes, keepbarnes@acsalaska.net , 488-5336, or attend one of our general membership meetings, held the first and third Tuesday of each month, 7:00 p.m., Station 1 (Richardson Hwy just north of Johnson Road). Volunteering with Salcha Rescue is a big commitment, but it is a very rewarding commitment.
