1^ST PUBLIC MEETING

Seven years ago the Salcha Fair Association, Inc., was saved from being dissolved and loosing it’s land lease; in part, because of a long term Vision proposed to our neighbors and our official Representatives.

The Vision used the Salcha Fair Association and it’s unique mission that is designed to serve all Salchans equally. The Salcha Fair Association annual community events and celebrations were willed to create community bonds of respect. Bonds that would become common place. Upon these common grounds leased to the Salcha Fair Association has a portion designated to be the future home of a Salcha Community Center. These common grounds were also seen as a future hub to an extensive trail system that would compensate for our community only connection now being the state highway at 65 mph.

Less than a month ago, the community center idea was prioritized. Since then, this project has received encouragement and support from every one of our representatives. Their response tells us that they listened and believe in our ability to achieve success.

Today, we want you to imagine our community in the future ten (10) years. Imagine that we have had every idea manifested; everything we asked for, we got. I want you to take turns telling us first your name and then your idea. We will have you write it on a piece of paper, sign it and hang it on the wall. By the end we shall have lots of ideas to research for possibilities.

We also will be searching for the people who want to help on a more personal level as Committee Officers and Sub-Committee Heads.
